چکیده
Nontoxic polymers PVP and Na-alginate may provide a favorable environment for the survival of bacteria. Therefore, were added to growth medium develop liquid inoculant Bradyrhizobium japonicum strain. The strain was identified by 16S rDNA sequencing. addition (1.8%) (0.2%) in promoted better (1.93 × 109 cells mL−1) B. compared control (3.50 102 after 6 months storage. combination ensured 1.53 107 mL−1 up 12 storage under ambient temperature (28 ± 2 °C), whereas or alone produced similar cell counts only 8 months, respectively. Consecutive field experiments proved efficacy on nodulation yield soybean. Na-alginate-based inoculation significantly increased nodule number per plant, pods seeds pod, seed yield, hectare (p ≤ 0.05). Thus, PVP- has great potential popularize organic cultivation

Soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr].
In this chapter we describe an Agrobacterium tumefaciens transformation method of soybean that utilizes mature half seeds and regeneration from the cotyledonary node region. This method results in fertile transformed soybean plants and transgenic seed in approximately 9 months. Using mature half seeds as starting material has proven to be a reliable method that does not require additional wound...
متن کاملSoybean Seed Extracts Preferentially Express Genomic Loci of Bradyrhizobium japonicum in the Initial Interaction with Soybean, Glycine max (L.) Merr
Initial interaction between rhizobia and legumes actually starts via encounters of both partners in the rhizosphere. In this study, the global expression profiles of Bradyrhizobium japonicum USDA 110 in response to soybean (Glycine max) seed extracts (SSE) and genistein, a major soybean-released isoflavone for nod genes induction of B. japonicum, were compared. SSE induced many genomic loci as ...
متن کاملPerception of Bradyrhizobium japonicum Nod factor by soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] root hairs under abiotic stress conditions.
Suboptimal growth conditions, such as low rhizosphere temperature, high salinity, and low pH can negatively affect the rhizobia-legume symbioses, resulting in poor nodulation and lower amounts of nitrogen fixed. Early stages of the Bradyrhizobium japonicum-soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] symbiosis, such as excretion of genistein (the plant-to-bacteria signal) and infection initiation can be in...
متن کاملInoculation with Bradyrhizobium japonicum enhances the organic and fatty acids content of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) seeds.
Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) is one of the most important food crops for human and animal consumption, providing oil and protein at relatively low cost. The least expensive source of nitrogen for soybean is the biological fixation of atmospheric nitrogen by the symbiotic association with soil bacteria, belonging mainly to the genus Bradyrhizobium. This study was conducted to assess the ef...
متن کاملQTL Mapping for Major Agronomic Traits across Two Years in Soybean (Glycine max L. Merr.)
The agronomic traits, such as days to flowering and maturity, plant height, 100-seed weight and seed filling period, are quantitatively inherited and important characters in soybean (Glycine max L. Merr.). A total of 126 F5 recombinant inbred lines (RILs) developed from the cross of PI 171451×Hwaeomputkong were used to identify quantitative trait loci (QTLs) for days to flowering (FD), days to ...
